   I have the same problem...doesn't do annihilation BUT I think information technology is the Auto Think MMS and also while ROAMING since I am 1200 miles away from my home area, so (MetroPCS) is roaming vocalism/text/1Xdata on Sprint only when outside get 4G data (T-Mobile), so my model S3 has to switch back and forth betwixt carriers (Dart & T-Mobile)
   And then it is non harming anything just a little abrasive, but I volition "build a bridge and get the f*** over it"......

   Hey I didn't read to the bitter cease of this only I can tell you why I get this error. Is your phone rooted? I get it because my phone is looking for updates. The offset time it happened was when my phone was rooted and they were pushing the update to jellybean. So I had to un root, dl the update to 4.one.2 and then I never re-rooted, well I just rerooted today and guess what bulletin is dorsum!? I haven't worked on it even so but but wanted to say information technology could exist this effect of your carrier pinging for motorcar updates.

   I had the same download error consequence and I assumed its ane of the apps I recently installed called "close upwards button" and since I accept uninstalled that app I haven't seen the mistake message. Promise this helps.

   Kelly,
   Yous could endeavor booting into Rubber style and see if you're able to access the telephone. It's possible that some app you recently installed is causing the trouble.

   To boot into Safe mode:
   - turn the phone completely off
   - printing and hold the Volume Downwards rocker (and keep holding it)
   - printing the Ability button until yous feel the phone vibrate (usually 2-3 seconds)
   - go on holding the Volume Down rocker until the phone finishes booting
   Yous'll see 'Condom mode' in the lower left corner

   Hi, I had this upshot. I solved information technology by deleting all my sms messages/threads. The only time I'd ever received this message, prior to the update, was when I was sent a mms message. Inthat case the mms was never downloaded, and I deleted the bulletin. I call up, somehow during the update, the try to download this mms was reignited. Since deleting all sms/mms messages/threads I've not had this warning. I hope this helps. Thanks.

    Solved! I had the same trouble. There was a mms that I had not downloaded, I deleted the message and bingo... no more annoying "currently unable to download" notifications.

    I accept had also the same problem since last two calendar week then i noticed that what happened when this error is poping upwardly again and again i noticed that when i recive a picture message in inbox i mean in text message it says download and i tin can't see the image afterwards that whenever i plow on my Wifi this error pops upward y'all should better delete all your inbox letters you may also get 1 of that picture bulletin that is trying to download. i hope this will work information technology worked for me.

    This answer worked for me! I noticed I had an incoming bulletin with an attachment that hadn't been downloaded, merely was expired. Deleted the message -- sadly, I couldn't grab the file first -- and I no longer get that extremely annoying error.

    No need for manufactory reset.

    I besides face the same problem and I stock-still information technology by;

    i. Go to SMS settings.
    2. Select Multimedia Messages
    3. Uncheck the Motorcar Retrieve Choice

    How-do-you-do everybody!

    I have got the same problem like you for one calendar week and I finally constitute what was incorrect.

    These are some pictures that someone sent me by MMS which the prison cell phone couldn't download. Why? In my instance, it is a French phone, so I disabled the mobile data because I am currently in the US.

    The mobile telephone requires information to download the pictures, non the Wi-Fi. this is why I got everytime this tiring message : "Currently unable to download. Please try again later."
    Then I deleted the MMS I received in the thread.

    I hope information technology'll do the same for yous guys.
    Hope my bulletin will be helpful.

    Hey Guys,

    I merely wanted to share my experience with you all and promise it will be helpful. I accept Notation 3 updated to lollipop but I believe all Android phones are similar.

    Outset of all ANDROID IS CRAZY "Literally", you lot will not empathise when the problem will happen to your phone and how to fix it, specially that the issues may be interrelated, and 1 fix may not be enough until you know really what is incorrect with your phone.

    At present to the discipline, my telephone was getting this "unable to download" error message, so same time suddenly from no where I get an error on the notification menu "sign-in request" with Gallery Picture beside it, and when I click on this message information technology requests to log in with Picasa and so all google applications disappear from the telephone, and when I go within "Apps" (on the lesser right of your telephone desktop) I plant them disappeared from the inner folders of Google, so suddenly out of no where all apps get redistributed over the pages within Apps and Google Apps return back again distributed as well. All of this likewise when I was restarting the phone it was taking effectually 5 minutes to open telephone's desktop.

    To fix the higher up I made Wipe information and factory reset more than 5 times in 2 days with no result.

    Then after some search I did the below fixing (after 1 more factory rest):
    i- Went to Settings - "General" Tab - Accounts - Google then click on the email beside the Sync symbol, then scroll to the cease of the folio and uncheck "Sync Picasa Web Albums".
    2- Went to Settings - "General" Tab - scroll down to Nigh Device - click on Software updates so uncheck "Wi-Fi only". (Of class this is going to accuse if not subscribed to mobile data parcel).
    3- Went to Messages - click on menu - Settings - Multimedia messages, and so uncheck Auto retrieve.
    4- Activate "Mobile Information" from notification menu and disable Wi-Fi.
    5- Restart the Phone.

    All of the to a higher place stock-still my problems, merely again we have to recollect, Android is crazy, at least for me.

    Hope this is useful to somebody out in that location.
